A)

only at n=0 and n=1 u(n) has value 1 everwhere else due to subtraction value is 0(ie, becomes 1-1=0).

The sketch is :

B)

Sin3(n) is not periodic as sin has period so to become periodic n should be a multiple of at some point in time , but n can have only values which are rational (ex: 1,2,3,4 etc) n cant have irrational values (eg n cant be ).Thus function is not periodic.
