I just took a final for chemistry 2. There were alot of questions on cell potential....

I just took a final for chemistry 2. There were alot of questions on cell potential. Some were given some I had to look up.

I used the equation Ecell = E cathode - E anode. I did not reverse any signs from the Voltages given or if I pulled them from a stanard chart. Was this correct I am now questioning whether I should have reversed one of the signs after rewatching an online video. However, I do not think that the video used the equation I did.

Please explain.
