The future, claim some, is with online advertising. Supporters of TV advertising disagree, contending that the multisensory impact of TV is unsurpassed and that no other media option offers the same potential impact.

In my opinion, TV advertising is still the most powerful advertising medium. Online advertising is adopted by many companies considering the cost and popularity of the internet among youngsters. Still, TV advertisement is the most effective medium for advertisement. They play an important role in creating brand awareness and helps new brands to make their presence. But most of the people watch the online advertisements of brands they are already familiar with. Most of the users who watch digital advertisements and make a purchase are youngsters and other people mainly rely on TV advertisements to understand the offers. Another reason is that online content is prone to hacking and there are lots of spam messages spreading through the internet. Hence people are suspicious about the credibility of online advertisements. But people trust traditional TV advertisements more which makes it still powerful and effective in the field of advertising.
