1. C. Will entry into this segment provide an entry into other segments?

This is because the role of a target market for a company is to find the relevant factors which would allow them the best use of their processes and products in a given segment. For example, my company makes game consoles, so, I will be interested in a target market where my product is a better alternative and has a competitive advantage rather than thinking about entering into the home entertainment system market.
