The reading for this week includes the following statement: "It is emphasized that scientists, through their investigations, do not prove anything" (GCU, 2014). A similar statement was made in an open letter to the editor of Science: "There is always some uncertainty associated with scientific conclusions; science never absolutely proves anything" (Glieck et al., 2010). While technically true when considering the scientific method, it may be more beneficial to employ a graduated approach by classifying scientific information as "proven, evolving, [or] borderline science" (Moghissi, Amin, & McNulty, 2010).

Read "Does Science Never Absolutely Prove Anything?" by Moghissi, Amin, and McNulty. Then consider the theory of evolution. Do you consider the theory of evolution proven, evolving, or borderline science? Support your answer.

Evolution if you see,then you will find that this is the ultimate discovery of science.It showed that how humans cam in the world.How the other animals survived and from where they have come on to the place where they are today.All such things are the part of evolution process.

If you see at an early stage,worms were present ,from where the fish came,then some came on land and started adapting the changes require to survive on land,started walking on legs,developed lungs,then also there were development of all the things require to continue the life.All are the part of evolution only.

hence,Darwin said,that the survival of the fittest can lead to evolution.This is also true that in order to meet the need of food and nutrition,everybody works and as long as you get those needs,there will be growth in all aspects.Similarly happened to the ancient times when evolution took place.

New things evolved always from the previous one and its a gradual process.For anything to germinate you need a seed.As per the scientist,evolution is a fact and it is a gradual process and it is happening.There are few cases where in the old crop can yield new variety as well.This is something called evolution only.Its a never ending process.Whatever comes,it comes with certain mistake or areas of improvement,so if there happens to be some changes would lead to development of new thing.

Hence,The evolution is fact and is a continous process as per the science.When you go to prove some case,there are always a point from where new approach can be formed and can lead to a new discovery.
