Re: Cultural partnership of Mc Donalds

In today's business environment, globalization has become a very important issue. People from different parts of the world are shifting to a new country in order to move on with their career. Similarly, there are several companies across the world which intends to globally expand. In order to globally expand the most important factor which has to be taken in to consideration by these organisations are formulating cultural partnership with the country in which the organisation intends to expand. So, in order to complete the assignments Mc Donalds a renowned fast food company of America can be taken in to consideration. McDonald in America is well known for its Hamburger and the company gain lots of popularity among the customers of America due to its unique way of making the Hamburger.

This organisation also tried to expand its business with several countries in the Asian region. If the expansion of McDonalds in India is taken in to consideration it can be seen that joint venture strategy has been used by the organisation to enter in to the country. Apart from this one of the strategy which can be used by Mc Donald in order to survive in the Indian market is cultural partnership. In India a huge percentage of people are vegetarian and this is the major reason the change in the menu should be initiated by the operation team of the organisation. It has been analysed that in several parts of India especially in the western and southern part a huge percentage of people are vegetarian. Thus, in order to gain popularity in the Indian market change in the food items are of utmost importance. Burgers which are special attraction of Mc Donald should be made with Paneer, Soya chunks. This will attract a lot of people in the store. Along with the change in the food menu the stores of the organisation should also be decorated in Indian styles. In India "Namaste" is the word used in order to greet people just like "Hello" and "Welcome" in the western part. Thus, the human resource team should train the employees within the organisation in such a way that they can greet the visitors in the ethnic style. This will also lead to increase in the satisfaction among the customers.
