Answer #1

(Answer) Prosopagnosia is a neurological perceptual deficit that occurs in the congenital central nervous system. This issue prevents the patient from properly recognising the faces of people. In the book, doctor P suffers from this problem and he is quite unaware of his having the condition. The title of the book alludes to the fact that a person as familiar as a wife is mistaken for a hat when this disease afflicts a person.
