Imagine that you are the head of a profitable Silicon Valley software company seeking to expand into the Chinese market by acquiring an existing Chinese firm. Your company culture is highly decentralised and unbureaucratic. Performance incentives include extra vacation time. You anticipate that transmitting your company culture to your Chinese subsidiary will be difficult. What strategies might you use to make the process less painful and costly?

1 . Communicate clear: When any company is acquired, most of the employees of acquired company dosen't know about policies of new company. Keep communicating clearly and often about polices, incentives, perks and what company can give you. By this there will be less confusion and panic among the employees.

2. Make ambassadors from acquired company: There will be always some employees who would be loving the new company culture. Identify these people and ask them to get other employees along.

3. Do not treat old employees as newly hired: There will be many such employees who would be in acquired company since start. Make sure to not treat them as newly hired. Respect these employees, they can be ambassador for the company.

4. Games and activities: Arrange games, competition and other activities at least once a week for employees to get interact with each other. More the interaction will result in culture exchange and getting use to new culture.

5. Celebrate together: Make sure festivals and events are celebrated together to get employees know about each others

6. Address the issues: Always keep on priority to address the issues of acquired employees. By this the employees won't feel left out and start liking and been familiar with new company policies.
