No, occupational illness should not be part of a business. All the business organizations must ensure the healthcare rights of employees irrespective of their society, class, and socio-economic background. Moreover, organizations need to provide an occupational injury and illness prevention program. According to the regulations of OSHA, all the organizations should arrange required safety instruments and initiatives to nullify the workplace illness and injuries. A recent study has disclosed that more than 4,500 people die to their workplace every year, and around 4.1 million workers use to suffer from severe illness or any job-related injuries.  

Effective ways to measure illness and workplace injuries are as follows:

• Monitoring: Employee activities should be appropriately monitored. The organization needs to value the healthcare right of each employee by watching their healthcare issues every day.

• Record keeping: The previous year's healthcare records of employees should be appropriately preserved to identify the most common illnesses and injuries in the workplace. It helps to plan for healthcare strategies.

• Insurances: Employers must ensure healthcare insurance for all the employees irrespective of their socio-cultural background. Moreover, the employer must bear the lion’s share of the insurance premium.

• Health check-ups: Weekly health check-ups should be arranged for all employees. It is the most effective way to track the illness of employees.

Thus, there must not be any occupational illness and injuries.
