Volume = Mass /Density

Given,

Mass = 300 metric tons = 2205 x 300 = 661500 lbs

Density = 5lbs per cubic foot

Thus,

Volume = 661500 lbs / 5 lbs ft^-3

= 132300 ft^3

= 132300 x 2.296 x 10^-5 acre-feet

= 303760.8 x 10^-5 acre-feet

= 3.04 acre-feet
