Discuss some of the Internet services available to businesses and
how they can provide value.
Answer:
The cloud services are a really crucial part of the business since most of the business is approaching E-business.
So the cloud technology will act as a backbone for the businesses, or we can say a canvass where everything can be set up.
There are different cloud services available in the market like Google cloud, aws, and DigiOcean's cloud service and they all have there owned pros and con but one thing is for sure that the future is promising for the cloud services.
since the Internet is only at its initial stage of growth.
Some comparison between the cloud services is given below, please have a look.
We are comparing Amazon's AWS, Google's Cloud platform, and Digital Ocean's cloud
Where will my data be stored?
The servers are located at different locations for different service provides
For Google Asia:
AWS:
Source: Amazon aws website.
Digital Ocean:
The servers of this service provider is located
for America:
New York San Francisco Europe: Amsterdam
What kind of security mechanisms are in place?
Digital Ocean does not have very good security mechanism or firewall in place
Google Cloud IAM (Identity and Access Management) similar to Amazon IAM and offers external firewall along with isolated internal network.
How does the provider ensure data durability, reliability and availability?
All of these have backup servers in place and their service is pretty fast so availability is not a problem as well as reliability and durability.
but they rank among themselves about these points and the order is
aws>google>Digital Ocean
This doesn't mean that the last one is pretty bad.
How easy is it to upload my data, especially when moving large data sets into the cloud?
They all provide cPanel to access the servers and upload data to the database.
Please give it a thumbs up if this helped you, also provide your valuable feedback.
