The above table represent recruitment of neutrophils by CXCL1 chemokine. Expressed by macrophages, neutrophils and epithelial cells this factor acts as a neutrophil chemotactic factor. This chemokine is also produced by melanoma cells. It induces mitosis melanoma pathogenesis. Its major role is recruiting neutrophils and their activation during infections. The values in the table below are edited. The neutrophils concentration is represent as 10 to the power of 4 instead of power of 6 and the deviations are eliminated.

The results indicate that the anti-inflammatory drugs or samples had varying effect on recruitment of neutrophils. The production of chemokine varied from sample to sample. From the results, sample 4 has resulted in very low amounts of chemokine production on par with the anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone while sample 5 has resulted in production of high quantities of chemokine and also resulted in recruitment of neutrophils. These values are similar to the placebo, which has no such anti-inflammatory effect.

Second best among samples under study is sample 2 followed by sample 3 and sample 1.
