Answer #2

K = (1/2)*I*w^2...

guven that I = 0.034 kg*m^2...

torque T = I*alpha...
alpha = T/I = 0.11/0.034 =3.235 rad/s^2

angular accelaration alpha = (wf-wi)/t..

wi = 0 rad/sec..t = 8 sec....wf=?

3.235 = wf/t...

wf = 3.235*8 = 25.88 rad/sec...

K = 0.5*I*wf^2 = 0.5*0.034*25.88*25.88 =11.34 J = 11 J
so the answer is C) 11 J
