Answer #1

3. Charge = q = -e

velocity direction = out of screen

B- field direction = Right to left

Force = -e V X B since ( -V x B ) cross product direction is upwards ,the force is upwards

4. F is out of the screen being direction of -(V x B )

5 Into screen since here charge is positive and (V x B ) vector product is into screen

6 Out of screen since charge is positive and (V x B ) vector product gives out of screen force.

7. In this case F = 0 which means V x B is zero , V is in the same direction as B field ,that is towards N or it is in exactly opposite direction ,that is away from N-pole.
