4.1) Application Scenario #1 A drilling tool (T) is required to operate in two different modes, START/STOP or PULSE, depending on the selection made by the user via three push-buttons (START push-button, STOP push-button, and PULSE push-button). Assume that the real application elements and the prototype elements from the PLC panel relate to each other according to the definitions from Table 1. Real Application Elements START push-button STOP push-button PULSE push-button Drilling Tool (T) VO Mapping for Assumptions PLC Panel Elements I136.0 I136.1 I136.2 Q136.0 Input 1 when push-button is presse Input-1 when push-button is pressed input = 1 when push-button is pressed Output-1 turns the drilling tool ON Table 1 Devise and test a PLC solution that fulfils the following requirements: " If the START push-button is pressed then the drilling tool (T) turns ON and remains ON after the START push-button is released. If the STOP push-button is pressed while the drilling tool (T) is ON, then the drilling tool (T) turns OFF and remains OFF after the STOP push-button is released. . If the PULSE push-button is pressed while the drilling tool (T) is OFF, then the drilling tool (T) turns ON, however if the PULSE push-button is released then the drilling tool (T) turns OFF. Hint: This task requires the use of an auxiliary memory bit.

A red light (L) indicates the carpark is full and a gate solenoid (G) prevents from cars entering the carpark when there isn't space available.
