The they to use the latest catchy or controversial matters as headlines or teaser advertisements to gain instant popularity for the show or the program in short time

For example, for a reality show, they come up with teaser advertising where they show case a brawl within in the contestants to raise interests in the audience to see what has caused the brawl at first instance.

Similarly, in news headlines they come up with controversial headlines to get viewers glued till the news related to that controversial headlines come up in the show, although the real news is not controversial at all.

For some special programs, people bring in special celebrity appearances in the show and release them as teasers to simulate intersts in the people regarding the show.
