a) magnetic force is given by the formula,

F= q*(v x B) {cross product of v and B}

F = qvB*sin(\phi) {\phi is the angle between v and B,here \phi= 180-\theta = 180-50 = 130o}

F= 8.4*10-6*800*8.2*sin(130)

F = 0.0422 N

direction of magnetic force is into the page

b) acceleration, a = F/m = 0.0422/(2.8*10-27)

a = 1.507*1025 m/s2
