1. When butanoic acid (CHRCH2CH2COOH) is heated with ethanol (CH CH2OH) in presence of acid, it forms the required ester as shown above.

2. When butanoyl chloride (CH_3CH_2CH_2COCl) is treated with ethanol in presence of pyridine, it forms the required ester as shown above. Pyridine reacts with HCl that is produced.

3. When butanoic anhydride ((CH_3CH_2CH_2CO)_2O) is heated with ethanol in presence of acid, it form the required ester and butanoic acid as shown above.
