a) Excel future value= FV (rate = 3.25% /12 n per = 40 x 12 pmt = 100 +50% x 100 pv = 0,0)

= $ 147, 481.17

b) carol company contribution = 100 x 50% x 12 x 40 = $ 24000

c) carol deposited = 24000 x 2 = 48000

Difference = 147481.17 - 48000 = 99,481.17
