There are 3 tier architecture associated with the client server architecture which is considered the functional process unit, or the data access, computer data storage as well as the user interface which are developed and maintained as the independent module on any of the separate platform. The following are the layers of the architecture.

1) Presentation Tier which is the top level and helps in displaying the information that are with relation to the services being available on the website. This is needed for communication with that of the other tiers by even sending the results for browsing with the other tiers in the network.

2) The second is the application tier which is referred to as the middle tier or the logic tier or the tier which helps in pulling data from that of the presentation tier that can control the application functionality for performing the detailed processing.

3) The Data tier is the 3rd layer where the database server is present and the information is being stored and retrieved and the data gets stored in this tier. This tier is independent of the application server or business logic.

All of the above need the HTTP, FTP presentation, TTC presentation along with a dispatcher that are connected with the virtual circuits and with the help of the shared server process are connected with the server.

Also, there are many of the systems connected for this kind of architecture.
