Discuss how the concepts in physical science can be applied to real-world situations and increase your chances of career or life success.
Physical sciences include subjects like physics, chemistry, astronomy etc. which help us study the non-living objects around us. With observations about the phenomena around us, scientists researched and gave explanations for these phenomena and these constituted physical sciences available for future students to study. So their concepts actually come from study of things and phenomena around us and hence can be applied to life situations. Science and technology are related to society and both have a deep impact on each other.
For example, the concept that pressure of a liquid with density at height h is hg is used in construction of dams and hydroelectric power plants where water is stored at a height in a reservoir and then allowed to fall on turbines whivh get rotated and convert the mechanical energy of water to electrical energy.
Similarly, the concept of Hess law can be used to determine the enthalpy of reactions which are otherwise difficult to carry out. The concept of radioactivity (emission of radiations by heavy isotopes) is used to determine the age of trees etc. and also in medicine (X-ray, MRI scans etc.). In this the knowledge of isotopes is useful (Isotopes are atoms of the same element which have same atomic number but different mass numbers). The concept of the large amount of energy released in nuclear reactions is also used to generate electricity by using the energy released to heat up water and convert it to high energy steam which then rotates the turbines which convert energy of steam to electricity. Thus concepts of physical sciences can be applied to real-life situations and help us in our careers.

Explain one of the TM concepts (decisional balance, situational self-efficacy, and processes of change). Describe how the selected concept impacts a client’s behavioral change in the area of health.
9. As a systems analyst, discuss how the concepts of decomposition, modularity, coupling, and cohesion can be applied to a car as a system.
Operant conditioning is often applied to "real world" situations. A classic example is using reinforcers and punishment to discipline children. Skinner and his followers demonstrated that reinforcement is more effective than punishment in shaping children’s behavior. Yet there still exists a wide variety of opinion over the best way to raise and discipline children, especially with regard to raising children within different cultures. For example, what is acceptable in one culture as discipline is considered abuse in another. To demonstrate...
