Due to the globalization of businesses with the unprecedented advancement in communication technology and international tourism through exploration of worldwide cultures has become commonplace. The world is Flat ideology of Thomas Friedman has been proved right, with worldwide social networks and businesses making the entire world seem like a village. This is late to the extensive utilization of air transport resulting in an exceptional rise in demand. Given the security threats which are omnipresent worldwide, it has become more important than ever before to implement effective security systems within airlines and airports to ensure we can keep advancing towards a world without borders.

Analysis of the security system has exposed the major threats and challenges faced by the aviation industry. The four major threats are from on ground security, insiders, aviation cybersecurity, and conflict zones. The inherent nature of the industry makes it vulnerable to security breaches as it needs to run security processes within time constraints, without any deviations, or procedural lapses. In addition to this, the threat from insiders becomes difficult to control as it is impossible to prepare a perfect system for analysis of human thought and action. To address this issue security systems utilized by Airlines need to implement multiple layers of protection along with advanced technology of detection and a culture of security within the organization enhanced by the perfect flow of Information and Communication for intelligence sharing. It is essential coherent and cohesive plan be outlined and implemented across the world by the international air transport Association. Ground level security is the responsibility of individual Government and requires action by the countries as also perfect coordination and communication within governments of two nations, in case of flights operating on international routes. The best possible way of defending against terrorist attacks is by preventing a terrorist from reaching the airport through intelligence agencies controlled by the government. It is also important that the entire process of clearance within the airport become more efficient and quick to ensure minimum queuing at the airport. Less crowded airports are easier to manage and risk identification becomes more possible, as also it becomes less tempting a target for terrorists.

The establishment of the first Global aviation security plan by the International Civil Aviation Organization and encouragement of governments to incorporate and implement the same into the national security plans for aviation has been initiated as the measure will not be effective unless adopted widely. It is understood that various governments differ in their capacity to prioritize security, however, given the impact of airline security worldwide through an opening of international routes to every Nation, it is essential that every country educated on the importance of cooperating and implementing the essential safety guidelines. Lax safety measures in a country far off can impact the security of the airports in the United States when the flights land or fly through the airspace. Therefore it is essential that the quality of airline security worldwide he brought under a global Lambert as it is about better and high-quality security rather than about more. Universal implementation of global standards of Aviation security is essential rather than an option. Innovations need to be utilized extensively 2 ensure effective optimization of security systems through smart programs which have maximum effectiveness and minimal inconvenience. This has been extensively adopted within the United States, a lot more needs to be done procreation of a regulatory Framework bye bye passengers can be assessed on risk via digital database analysis and checked according to the score awarded. This would greatly reduce the clearance time. The United States is a Pioneer in incrementing and demanding implementation of a Global Security System to ensure uniform safety measures worldwide between the aviation industry given the fact that it can impact the nation, by the threat landing at its doorstep.

Globally also aviation security is accorded importance and purpose it deserves by Nations across the world acknowledging the importance of ensuring the safety of foreign nationals arriving in the nation, as well as its citizens. This is evident in the reduction of the accident rates as well as, a minimal occurrence of security lapses and subsequent incidents, which had a major impact. IATA is taking extensive action across the globe to ensure collaboration with various organizations and governmental Agencies for identification of safety risk and development and implementation of strategies to mitigate them. For example, in African Nations, it has introduced Meteorological projects to help mitigate the major impact of turbulence experienced due to an erroneous weather forecast. Introduction of sophisticated forecasting Technology systems as being encouraged along with the development of a worldwide Framework for sharing of information regarding turbulence to be launched shortly, which will prove to be extremely helpful two Nations not having access to high-class technology for weather prediction. Safety audits across the underdeveloped and developing Nations as also health improve safety measures followed within these Nations to a large extent. After the audit, the organization provides its recommendations for the implementation of various processes of data management and Analytics being utilized across the globe to bring all stakeholders on a common platform to enable collaboration and cooperation. It also encourages all these Nations to adopt digital technology and implement internal audit programs to enable continuous monitoring and control of the entire security system.

The European Union (E.U.), as well as numerous other countries such as Australia, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, and Norway, have adopted similar security restrictions to those in the U.S. You are permitted 100-milliliter containers of liquid and gel substances, packed within a clear, resealable, one-liter plastic bag.

The security procedures for screening are almost similar worldwide due to an international agency attempting to standardization of procedures with uniformity across the globe. Every airport you need to provide photo identification and boarding pass at the security check. To proceed to the baggage screening area. Laptops and other devices need to be taken out and separated from the rest of the luggage along with liquids which are only allowed in small quantities packed in a clear resealable plastic bag, shoes and belts or jackets need to be removed. Shoes may be kept on by individuals below 12 years and over 75 years of age. Some minor procedural difference may remain in the method of conducting the screening. For example within France, airport security personnel are not allowed passengers in the absence of a police officer during patdowns. Israel is on the other end of the spectrum using behavior-based profiling conducted by expert security officers well- trained for the specific purpose.

Canada adopts the middle path with all security officer extremely courteous and performing light patdowns only when necessary. In Canada, you are not required to remove shoes.

Israel is reputed to have the strict security procedures in the world with bags being put through decompression chamber to detect explosives, and every passenger climb on the official national airline of Israel subjected to questioning by security agent before boarding the plane with foreigners being questioned more thoroughly. Arabs and Muslims are subjected to an intensive level of questioning the possibility of added luggage scrutiny and strip searches. The agents use HD profiling to screen passengers which are claimed to be an effective way of uncovering terrorists or radical threats.

Saudi Arabia maintains strict control on who is allowed to enter the country with foreigners required to get visas in advance. Israeli citizens are not allowed to visit Saudi Arabia nor anyone possessing a passport with an Israeli stamp. Women are also subject to strict rules requiring a male sponsor to meet them at the airport they are not allowed to leave the airport without a consort. An unmarried woman is not allowed to take any flight out of the country without providing written consent of the father or male guardian. The script rules also apply to the goods that can be transported into the country or out of the country. Customs official conduct extensive search of passenger baggage for any forbidden items such as alcohol, pork products, and pornography.

United Kingdom subject passengers to greater scrutiny on domestic flight transit through and from Heathrow airport to other airports within the United Kingdom Ireland to undergo biometric screening, to show that passengers cannot read the immigration procedures within the United Kingdom.

In Japan, the security procedure is standardized and similar to the United States with the exception being that airport workers are extra vigilant about than bombs or explosives.

Within Australia security procedures within the international airport for international flight conforms to those maintained by the TSA within the United States which security measures being relaxed for passengers on domestic flights.

In Pakistan, vehicles are not allowed to approach the airport arrival and departure area with passengers being advised to arrive 2 hours before departure of a domestic flight and 4 hours for an International flight. The United States and security measures are applied for all passengers traveling to the United States being put through extra security procedures including full body scan, patdown, and extra baggage checks as Pakistani citizens are subjected to extra scrutiny at the airport in the United States.
