Sooner City has a rapidly growing suburban population and is currently being serviced by a wastewater treatment plant that can no longer handle the current wastewater flow. The city council is seeking a design of a new wastewater treatment plant that will immediately service 105,244 people. The area the facility will cover is expected to have a 1.0198% growth rate for the next 25 years. The current average wastewater flow rate is 120 gal/capita*day (includes small industrial, residential, and infiltration). The city council of Sooner City would like your team to design a new primary treatment train. Include in your design the critical geometric features. Assume a daily sludge volume of 264 gallons.
