Below is shown an 8kb region of the human genome, with the proportion of the nucleotides that are identical between the human sequence and the homologous sequence from mouse on the top graph, and the location of sequences mapped from an RNA-sequencing experiment on the bottom graph

Answer #1

1).What region is likely to be an enhancer element upstream of the promoter?

The most of the enhancer region is present in between the start range of 50 -1500 bps of the DNA. Hence the element A and B are the enahncer region in terms of nucleotide region.

2).What region is likely to be an enhancer element in an intron?

The Region B is the engancer element in the intron on comparing the graph, Since the element A may be non function region in mRNA.
