It is required to: a) Determine the direction, magnitude (in ton) and inclineation of the resultant hydrostatic force on the circular surface DE; b) Determine the hydrostatic pressure force (direction, magnitude and point of action) on plain surface CD c) Determine the minimum force F (in ton) to keep gate CD closed (note: weight of gate CD is neglected note gate width is the same as tank width.
