Publix Super Markets Inc., commonly known as Publix, which is American supermarket chain and wholly owned by present and past employees and members of the Jenkins family. George W Jenkins founded this in 1930. Publix Marketing Mix 4Ps
(Product, Price, Place, Promotion) explains the market strategy. which elaborates the pricing, advertising and distribution
strategies used by the company. Their target market was Sedano's and Winn-Dixie in an industry where profit margins are
razor thin, since the company is in the arena with heavyweights, fending off competitors such as whole foods. Their brand
items are manufactured by leading national brands.
Publix is the first AMA Tampa Bay Hall of the frame Award winner for a good reason and their marketing success is driven by
customer-centric culture. Their marketing does not highlight the brand or stores but totally focused on their customers. Customer focused marketing begins with sharing the customer's values and beliefs, which designing marketing
campaigns have proved this. Sharing values in communications via TV, online and print communications for highlighting the
brands. Not only theses communications reveal the values togetherness and quality, but also an emphasis on instructions for do-it-yourself crafts and meals extend customer service beyond the store and into the home. Publix forms a genuine connection with its ads allow emotion to develop organically, such as happiness, love, longing, excitement or different emotion.
