Domestic Policy are administrative decisions directly linked to all activities and issues within the birders of a nation. Its however different from a foreign policy.
Domestic policy covers issues like health, education, business, law enforcement, taxation etc.
In case of an authoritarian government domestic policy is forced upon the people without being sensitive to their requirements.
In case of democracy however people are consulted or rather people's representatives, government bodies. Institutions of the country determine the Democratic policies. The media, lobyists, activists, other bodies influence policy by different means.
The effectiveness of implementation of government policy is strongly determined by the willingness of government in putting it to action. In some countries the judiciary also has powers to revoke implementation of policy if its not in peoples favour.
