1. The argument can be considered valid. An argument is valid if the truth of the premises logically guarantees the truth of the conclusion. On the other hand, soundness is concerned with the truth of the premises. A sound argument is valid and has true premises. Therefore, the above argument cannot be considered sound. The first premise is false as men do not have tails.
