In synthesizing Nickel salt complex, why is ethanol used?
Ethanol is used for crystallize the nickel salt form the solution. But most of the time it is not enough to crystallize. So Ice & ethanol along with dry ice are used .
If you have any query please comment
If you satisfied with the solution please like it thankxx
In a synthesis of a complex Nickel salt 0.639g of NiSO4.6H2O where weighed out and used. Calculate the mol of NiSO4.6H2O and report the number to 4 decimals.
A complex Nickel salt was heated on a watchglass.Given the following data , calculate the percentage of water in the salt (record your answer without units) mass of watchglass 13.38g mass of watchglass and salt 16.39g mass of watchglass and salt after heating 14.51g
In a synthesis experiment 3mL of 25% (v/v) en in ethanol was used to make a complex Nickel salt. Calculate the mols of en used in this synthesis. You may assume a density of ethanol of 0.789g/mL and a density for en of 0.899g/mL. Report your answer in units of mol.
What electrolyte can be used in the salt bridge of a galvanic cell that has nickel {Ni(NO3)2} and zinc {Zn(NO₃)₂} electrodes, and why? What will be the ion flow in the solutions?
A solid sample of a complex salt, with ideal composition Ni(NH3)6(NO3)2, was analyzed for nickel by dissolution in slightly acidic solution and precipitation as the dimethylglyoximate, Ni(DMG)2. A sintered glass crucible of mass 13.2379 g was used to filter off the precipitate. The dried crucible and precipitate had a combined mass of 13.3319 g. Calculate the theoretical mass of the original Ni(NH3)6(NO3)2 sample. 0.0927 g You are correct. Your receipt no. is 152-9832 Previous Tries Calculate the mass of nickel...

Mercurochrome is a complex organic derivative of mercury and was formerly used as an 4. antiseptic. Why does mercurochrome kill bacteria? 5. Explain why the type of milk used in the isolation of casein determines whether ethanol needs to be used as a rinse solution.
I need to use 0.5 M of nickel diacetate tetrahydrate in 50 ml ethanol and 0.5 ml of HCl how many mg should I put from nickel diacetate tetrahydrate.
In a voltaic cell made of a nickel, cardboard soaked in a lemon juice and salt solution, and a penny, which coin acts as the anode and which is the cathode?
