The statements not true about alcohol dehydrogenase are a and d

a. The enzyme uses NADH as cofactor.

The enzyme uses NAD+ as cofactor not NADH as H+ transferred into NAD+ to form NADH

d) If deuterium NAD+ is treated with CH3CH2OH, the generated aldehyde will contain deuterium.

The statement is false as aldehyde forms by loosing hydrogen so if deuterium NAD+ reacted with alcohol there will not be any deuterium in aldehyde.
