It is a simple linear regression problem with one dependent and one independent variable.

Not two problems.

What you have to do is the number assigned to males and females are given, you have to choose the weight and BMI of those males and females and create a combined data set for those values only. Now answer the questions from a. to e.

For example, select 1st male, 5th male, 10th male and so on after finishing males select females in the same way. It would better if you write numbers against each male and female starting from 1 for both and then choose the numbers given in sets, it will ease your selections.
