How interleaving work in the wireless transmission, why we use it?
the main purpose of interleaver to reduce sudden fade.
inorder to minimize the sudden fades on the received data ,the total of 456 encoded bits wiithin 20 mili second speech frame or control message frame are broken into eight 57 bits sub block.
these eight sub blocks which make up a single speech frame are spread over eight consecutive TCH( traffic channels) time slots.
it is mainly used in GSM (Gloabal system for mobile).
a Describe how nodes exchange wireless signals b explain us characteristics of popular WLAN transmission methods, including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac c Recognize potential obstacles to successful wireless transmission and their repercussions, such as interference and reflection
Explain briefly guided transmission media, wireless TX media & wireless propagation model.
What are advantages and disadvantages of stepping transmission mechanism and variable transmission mechanism? Why don’t we use variable transmission mechanism on CNC machine?
Describe the four main types of wireless transmission media, and identify at least one advantage for each. Write a summary of a current article about one of the types of wireless transmission media.
1. Wireless networks have changed the way we live and work. It has impacted almost every area of existence. In your opinion, has this change been primarily positive or negative? Why? 2. Are "ad-hoc" wireless networks safe? Do a little research on the Internet and come up with your opinion (not just yes or no) but why. If you believe that ad-hoc wireless networks are safe or not safe, then explain why (in a couple of sentences). 3. Interference with...

How has Bluetooth and wireless changed how we manage and maintain Windows? Provide some examples in your discussion
Q1) On your own words, explain why does the CSMA/CD algorithm not work in wireless LANs? Q2)How are the stations grouped into different VLANs? Explain each method briefly on your own words and give an example. Q3)There is a set of services expected from the network layer. Explain three of them briefly on your own words
In this assignment, you will work individually to answer the following review questions: List the IEEE 802.11 b/a/g/n/ac standards in order of lowest transmission speed to highest transmission speed * At what frequency ranges do the IEEE 802.11 b/a/g/n/ac standards transmit? What is important about these different frequencies? * Your wireless LAN device has just sent a request to send (RTS). What happens next? *In a CSMA/CA+Ack setting, your wireless LAN device has just determined that the signal is clear....
