Topic 1 :-

DBA is a database administrator of an organisation who manages, creates, maintain and give security to the database of the organisation.

The five duties of DBA are :-

  1. Authentication :- It provides access to employees in an important database security and also controls who has accessed and what type of access has been made to information database.
  2. Troubleshooting :- DBA quickly understands the problem and helps to quickly restore any data or recovers any problems of database.
  3. Data Handling :- Manage a very large database as today's database contains unstructured datatypes such as video files, images, documents.
  4. Database recovery and backup :- DBA helps to preserve data or helps in restoring data that is for backuping important data of the organisation and if there occurs any risks or problems it helps to recover that data.
  5. Security :- A DBA can recognise any problem or can recognise who has done what to data and can give security to data of databases and also provides recovery.

Topic 2 :-

Ans A. Relational Database management system create, update and interact with the relational database which is a collection of programs.

The functionalities required within a relational database management system are :-

  1. It is useful for data handling by providing collection of metadata and data dictionaries.
  2. Function is collectively known as CRUD which is used to create, read, update and delete.
  3. It supports work of DBA(Database Administrator) who manage data activity.
  4. It introduces high level query language like SQL.
  5. It process to backup data regularly and if any problem occurs it recovers.

Ans B. Oracle database 12c is best in LINUX as it can give benefit to customer by delivering best features, stability and performance to enable cloud computing of next generation. And it also provides higher quality service with lower IT costs.
