I think this is adrenal gland histology , in which adrenal cortex is shown woth its three layers - a) is zona glomerulosa, b) is zona fasciculata and c) is zona reticularis.

Hormone secreted by zona fasciculata is cortisol which is a glucocorticoid.

It stimulates gluconeogenesis which causes increase in blood sugar levels, has antiinflammatory role that is reduces inflammation and also stress, has role in regulation of metabolism and is important for memory formation.
