a. Psychosocial refers to psych (mental) social (society).It is the relationship of an individual with the society in the way how they handle it psychologically or mentally.

b and c.The components of psychosocial assessment and their example questions are

History collection:

  • Current /present/chief problems
    • Do you have any things which disturbs you more emotionally?
  • Drug/alcohol history
    • Are you on any prescribed or OTC medication ?
    • How long do you use it,what is the effect of it ?where fo you buy or get it etc.,
  • Personal history
    • Are you married or single?
    • Is there any one who cares for you or who 8s your career?
  • Legal
    • Is there any legal issues happened in your life time?
  • Mental status examination
    • assess the behavior, attitudes, stress level etc.
    • How do you manage stress?
  • Family/social history
    • Do you have any neighbors, how is your relationship with them?
  • Educational history
    • Will you ne able to read and write
  • Coping skills
    • How do you cope up with stress
  • Spiritual assessment
    • How do you finger inner peace when sick
  • Cultural assessment
    • What is your belief on health and illness

d.This gives a history of the financial status of a patient and how they manage or pay their bills.

e.This is in regards to the entertainment of the patient how they divert themselves from difficult situations to finger emotional stability

f.This is also related to entertainment and patient's involvement to explore new things
