We are experiencing a shortage of many life-saving resources in healthcare. This ranges from staff, money, supplies and organs. The scarcity of these resources will be the topic of this paper. First discuss what the current sources of organs for transplantation are. Identify and discuss the 3 compensation proposals being considered. What is the opposition to this type of program? Do you feel this is ethical? Identify and discuss 3 other types of resources that we have trouble acquiring in healthcare? Why do you feel we have trouble getting these? 1. The current sources of organs for transplantation are :-

- living donor = are those who donate their organ when they are alive

- deceased donor = are those who asuffered brain death after head trauma or medical problem in the brain like bleeding etc .

2. There are two types of compensation :-

# Monetary which include :-

- Medical expenses

- Travel costs

- Acknowledgement of altruism behaviour

- Paid leave from work

- Living expenses

- Bonuses

#Non -monetay includes :-

- Free annual medicals

- priority state healthcare

- praise and recognition

- rapid promotion

- stimulating assignments

Opposition to compensation for cadeveric organ is that it will lead to live organ sales .More support is given to live donor compensation among surgeons and public .

Organ donation from living donor is an ethical dilemma ,in this physician must risk the life of healthy donor to save the life of a deceased patient . Ethical aspects of organ donation depend upon the type of organ transplant made whether it is directed or non directed . In directed one donors are compelled to donate their organ so in that case its unethical and in non directed case donors donate their organs themselves on the basis of altruism it's ethical and shows humanity.

Organ donation becomes unethical when discrimination of organs on the basis of race , ethinicity , religions is done .

Three other resources that we have trouble in acquiring in healthcare are :-

- medical equipmens

- staffs

- money to run the healthcare programs

The main reason behind the above reasources trouble is shortage of funds provided by the government .or there are funds but it's not being used for what it is meant for.

Proper funding agencies which are like non governmental organisations and the funds provided by government should be pooled up separately and a committee has to be made including retired officers ,medical officer , health management team to distribute these funds to the required healthcare center's on the assessment made by them practically . A survey to analyse the monthly analysis of resources utilisation should be implemented to have a track of the funds utilisation .

Initially there will be barriers and obstacles to this plan because it will reveal the unethical and black market going beyond the scenes . By the time it will be become inculcated in to the practice and people won't be able to misuses the resources .
