Graphite furnace method involves 4 stages:
1. Drying is done to remove water and solvents from the sample. (80 – 200° C)
2. Ashing is done to remove matrix components and other high boiling volatile compounds such as oils and fats. Temperatures from 400-800°C is reached during ashing.
3. Atomization- Atomic vapor of the sample is formed due to a rapid increase in temperature up to 3000°C. Radiation through a hollow cathode lamp is then passed through the atomic vapor and a plot of absorbance vs time is measured.
Analysis time : 1-5 mins
4. Cleaning: A stream of inert gas flows through the tube and removes vapors from the sample matrix.

СKG Auto compact car manufacturing assembly plants rely on parts from multiple outside vendors and internal subassembly plants. Currently, these parts are all transported via independent trucking firms for negotiated fees based on actual tons shipped and miles. The operations management group has been dissatisfied lately with the service levels provided by these outside trucking companies, as well as with the rising costs of roughly 6.0% per year for the last two years. These costs are expected to rise in...

In that time, have they been able to develop an understanding of human gestures such as pointing or glancing? How about simi lar nonhuman cues? Researchers Udell, Giglio, and Wynne tested a small number of dogs in order to answer these questions. In this exploration, we wll first see whether dogs can understand human gestures as well as nonhuman gestures. To test this, the researchers positioned...
