Burns are the one which has to be attended as early as possible, because the delay in the treatment can never reverse if any major changes occur but in thid case tge skin is bright red with a mild sloughing needs local treatment only and can be cured easily. But the teenager seems to have an infection which has spread to his circulation resulted in lesions which can endanger life as it could have reached the circulatory system .He needs a systemic correction so he has to be met and treated first.
