a) Negligence:

Negligence is failure you give reasonable care.

Example:

Medical assistant is responsible for their own actions, if anyone damage occur to the patient as a result of your care that will cause negligence.

b)Malpractice:

Improper or illegal professional behavior.

Example

Medical professional induce injury to the patient due to negligence. That's malpractice.

c) Statue of Limitation:

A statue prescription a period of limitation for bringing of actions of certain kinds.

Example

Setting an maximum time for initiating legal proceeding.

d) Good samaritan law:

Good Samaritan law to protect all people those who gave assistance in emergency situation.

e)Uniform Anatomical Gift Law:

This law set uniform framework for organ and tissue donation.

f) Living will/ Advance directives:

Its written legal instructions related to legal medical decision.

This medical assistant should follow during care.

g) Medical durable power of attorney:

Written documents of patient on allowing someone to take decision about health care, in the absence of patient decision..

Patient will have nominate(written) someone for taking healthcare desicion.

Healthcare record:

1. Health record should be legal.

2. It should contain actually information of patient.

3. It should be maintained immediately after the completion of work.

4. It should be systematically documented.
