The philosophy of home care is maintaining people in the least restrictive environment.Home health care provides quality health care services to clients in their own home.Most people would like to receive health services at home than in a hospital. The health providers identify the unique physical,emotional and spiritual needs of each person.

TYPES OF SERVICES IN HOME CARE

• Doctor and Nursing care

A doctor may review the care needs and may also visit home for diagnosis and treatment of illness. Nursing care depends on patient's needs.It include wound dressing,ostomy care,intravenous therapy,medication administration, and other health services.

• Occupational,Speech and Physical therapy.

Occupational therapists help a patient to relearn activities of daily living such as eating,bathing,dressing and more.Speech therapists improve their speech which might be impaired after an illness or injury.A physical therapist help a patient strengthen use of muscles and joints.
