  1. Autoclave: the items for sterilization are kept inside a pressure vessel and the machine uses steam under pressure to kill harmful organisms like bacteria, virus, fungi, spores etc.

  3. Opportunistic :The infection occurring due to patient’s resistance is less due to some conditions like a severe illness, cancerous growth, post chemotherapy condition etc… is called opportunistic infections.
  4. Nosocomial :The contract of infection from a hospital is called hospital borne infection or nosocomial infection.
  5. All the options are correct. The immunization can be gained through all these. Active acquired and passive acquired immunity are two methods of gaining immunity. Vaccination provides artificially acquired active immunity. Inoculation is injection of usually vaccines .
