Answer #1

I can return to my normal activities like cleaning my house and vacuuming.

a person with post-cataract surgery is more prone to dust and hence the nurse will not recommend doing any activity related to dust such as cleaning. vacuuming increases the dust in the room and that is very harmful to the eyes.

lens of our eyes mainly consists of water and proteins and in cataracts, there is cloudiness in the lens of the eyes. with age, the proteins of lens shrink together that results in cataract. there is an increased risk of retinal detachment in the case of cataract surgery which also includes itching and infection. medical consultants will recommend the patient to use some eye drops, avoid bending from the waist and avoid heavy household works.
