Medical devices are any instruments used for diagnostic and treatment protocol. It helps health care workers to diagnose and treat patients , help patients to get relieve from sickness or disease. Medical devices must effective and prove effective. There are three class of medical devices : Low risk devices bandages,wheel chairs , handheld devices, inhaler,urine bag,sterile dressigns.Intermediate risk devices intravenous medications, computed tomography, magnetic risk imaging,mechanical ventilators.High risk devices includes pacemakers,prosthetic devices, heart valves, stents.

Inhalers: Inhalers are hand held portable devices helps to delver bronchodilators to treat asthma symptoms. Inhaler must consists of mouthpiece , peak flow meter, medication spacer. Designing modification of inhaler must includes a LED screen to identify the accurate delivery of medication this helps children and elderly to measure exact intake of medications. Medication spacer designed in a way to allow patient to inhale the medication slowly. Inhaler must be weight less to facilitate easy portability.

Humidifiers are medical device used to heat and humidify the atmospheric air before inhaled by a patient. Respiratory humidifiers are used for patient with altered respiration. Humidifiers must designed in a way to reduce discomforts like dry skin,continuous cough,sore throat,flu kind of symptoms,sore eyes.

Blood sugar testing kit used to determine concentration of glucose value in the blood. A small prick on the skin is done with the help of a lancet. The blood is placed on a disposable test strip and the meter reads the value of glucose int he blood. The size must be handheld to improve portability of glucometer. Battery powered glucometer helps in continuos monitoring and easy replacement of batteries. Memory based blood sugar testing kit helps patient to keep their early blood sugar values safe.
