Specific to the duties you will perform that may put you at risk, what can you do to ensure that you are safe and limit your exposure and risk of infection?

Answer: The career that influences most is the healthcare profession i.e. nursing. Nursing is a life long nursing profession where nurse indulge many methods to deliver quality of care to the patients. The nurses are directly connected to the patients so there are many risk of infection. Treating patient with communicable disease also increases the spread of infection.

While assessing patients, it is important to take precautions such as wearing mask, gloves , maintaining proper hand hygiene. The hands should be washed before and after assesing the patients. While assessing sounded, infected patients, nurse should be careful and take every precautionary measures.

Maintaining proper hygienic environment, hand washing techniques should be well known to the patients, wearing gloves, mask etc can prevent infection.
