Complete reaction is:

CH4 + 2O2 ---> CO2 + 2H2O

Moles of CH4 = Mass/ molar mass = 60 g/ (16 g/mol) = 3.75 mol

From reaction

3.75 mol CH4 * ( 1 mol CO2 / 1 mol CH4)*(44 g CO2 / 1 mol CO2)= 165 g

Thus, Mass percent = experimental value / Theoretical value )*100% = ( 112/ 165 )*100% = 67.9%
