How do laws originate? Explain the differences between various sources of law and describe the branches of government and their roles in creating, administering, and enforcing law. In addition, what are the differences between contract law and tor law? What about public law versus private law? Please write clearly and I need source too. # Laws originate from two sources :-

- Common law = arises from cases as they are tried in courts of law , giving rise to important ruling that set precedents .

- Statutory law = issued by the government , normally as an act of Parliament .

# The different branches of government are :-

- Executive

- Legislative

- Judicial

The legislative beach is the Congress and they make the laws.

# Difference between contract and tort law are :-

Contract law - in contract law , duties are owned by other parties to contract , damages are forward looking , duties are accepted voluntarily , these are primarily made to protect e onomic interest .

Tort law - duties owned to persons generally , damages are backward looking , duties are imposed by law and these are primarily mede to protect non economic interest .

# Difference between public and private law are:-

Public law - the state is directly involved . It is concerned with legal relationship and disputes between individual and state

Example - Crminal law , Constitutional law

Private law - it is also known as civil law . The state is indirectly involved . It is concerned with legal relationship and disputes between individuals .

Example - Tort law , Contract law .
