The Florida Department of health in Bay County is providing the essential health care services needed by the people of Panama City . The healthcare services include :-

- Women ,Infant and child services

- Immunization

- Birth and death certificate

- Mobile medical clinic which provides medical care and free Hep A and tetnus injection.

- They provide emergency diabetes supplies including insulin.

- Department of health Bay is planning to tie up with AmeriCares to provide primary care and pharmacy services in Panama City.

But ,I don't believe that they meet the community's needs be ause they provide care and services at small scale means basic care and also there is no multi-specialty clinic . They have small primary care units where they look after small cases and refer serious cases to other hospitals .

The Department of Florida ,should specialise their department (clinics) in terms of technology and practice . They should provide Panama all the essential equipment and resources available to provide efficient care to their patients. Training of the health care providers has to be done to advance their knowledge and practical experience so that they can treat their patients properly and manage them their itself with out referring the patient to other hospitals.
