a) As Blue represents N, White represents H and Red represents O.

In a, BLUE-BLUE is N2 AND 2 White and 1 Red represents H2O. And this is the reaction given in which nitrogen and water is formed.

Let me explain more:

N2 has two atoms so as we can see in the product side N2 is formed , it means product should contains species with 2 atoms.

in picture a we have molecules with 2 atoms which is N2.

H2O has 3 atoms, it means in product we should have a molecule with 3 atoms. In a) We have this 3 atom molecule which is H2O.

We dont want any other molecule in the product side. Only option a gives nitrogen and water . Since there are not any other molecules in a , so it means our reactant molecules are reacted completely while in b and c there are left some big reactant molecules.
