Myplate diet will balance with vegetables, fruits, grains, protein, and dairy-nonfat or low-fat food groups. kids with diabetes have to balance their intake of carbohydrates with insulin and activity levels to keep the glucose level under control. They should maintain a blood level of lipids in a healthy range to prevent long term health problems of diabetes.
24 hours diet plan for 14 years old
Breakfast
-1 slice whole-wheat bread with
-1/2 tsp low-fat cream cheese
-1/2 cup of dip with 2 graham cracker sheets
-1/2 cup banana
Lunch
-1/2 marinated grilled chicken with zucchini
-1/2 bowl cooked brown rice
-1/2 cup boiled baby carrot
-1/2 plate scramble egg with green pepper
snack:
-handful of nuts
-2tsp spring balck bear cilantro dip
Dinner
-1/4 cup vegetable skillet frittata
-1 grilled cheese and pear sandwich
