Ans) An initial adult dose of rosuvastatin consists of 5 mg/day. This is increased every two weeks by 5 mg/day until therapeutic results are achieved.

- Day 1 / one week = 5 mg/day

weeks = 10 mg/day

weeks = 15 mg/ day

weeks = 20 mg/day

weeks = 25 mg/day

weeks = 30 mg/day

weeks = 35 mg/day

weeks = 40 mg/day

weeks are needed to reach the maximum maintenance dose of 40 mg/day.
